In this ever demanding world, every once in a while we all stop to wonder why we're acquiring a product or service. What is the added value? What's the difference?
'Making the difference' is the theme for Plantarium, the horticultural trade fair held annually in Boskoop, Holland. This year's dates are August 22 to 25.
The Plantarium folks state that, "A brand can make the difference in that it provides a product with a distinctive feature which makes it stand out. Successful brands in the nursery stock sector include names such as David Austin Roses, Wave Petunias and Canna Tropicana. Differences can also include features such as pleasant scent, attractive presentation or splendid after-sales service."
Plantarium participants notice the difference when they expose their products to an international audience. Visitors take note of differences as this is where new products, emerging trends and industry innovations are showcased.
Jos van Lint, manager of Plantarium says, "This is the late summer European meeting place for everyone professionally engaged in the production and trade of nursery stock."
We're going to be there. Are you?
